Student must be 18 years of age to obtain a High-Risk Licence from WorkSafe WA.

RTO Entry Requirements

• WorkSafe requires the student must be 18 years of age to obtain a High-Risk Licence.

• Students are expected to have basic English reading, writing and numeracy skills to complete the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) - the mandated assessment.

• It is expected that students will be able to communicate in English without assistance from another person (including a translator).

• Students must be prepared to undertake the written and practical tests under specific test conditions (eg. closed book, stipulated time frame)

• Students need to be able to get on and off the forklift using three points of contact, without assistance.

Students will need:

• Enclosed footwear (steel capped boots preferable) 
• Long pants and long sleeved shirt
• Students must be able to provide one primary photo ID as per applicant guide issued by WorkSafe WA (Refer to Department of Commerce WA website under "Application for a High Risk Work Licence)  The prmary photo ID can be either a driver's licence or a passport. They may also be required to provide a  coloured passport photo.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course you will obtain a Statement of Attainment.

To receive your High-Risk Licence, you will need to apply through WorkSafe WA. An interim licence card will be provided upon completion to allow forklift operation until the WorkSafe application is processed.
