The City of Greater Geraldton is a coastal city in the Mid West region of the Australian state of Western Australia, 424 kilometres (263 mi) north of the state capital, Perth.
The City of Greater Geraldton incorporates the town of Mullewa, Walkaway and large rural areas previously forming the shires of Greenough and Mullewa. With the best of both worlds, the City of Greater Geraldton is a major west coast seaport and central hub to rural outlying areas.
The City of Greater Geraldton is an important service and logistics centre for regional mining, fishing, wheat, sheep and tourism industries. We have three campuses situated in Geraldton, including the main hub of Central Regional TAFE at Fitzgerald Street, the Batavia Coast Maritime Institute (BCMI) and Technology Park.
The Fitzgerald Street campus offers training in industry simulated learning environments in the areas of health, education, community services, construction, building, rural industries, mining, metals, art, automotive, hospitality, business, management, information technology and more. While the BCMI is renowned globally for its marine research and breeding facility and the newest campus to the Geraldton area, Technology Park hosts a variety of courses with industrial and heavy duty capabilities for servicing and training.
